TACLOBAN CITY – In spite of the pouring rain, the Blessing and Ribbon Cutting of the newly constructed monument of The San Juanico Eagles Club (SJEC) pushed through on 28 August 2021 at Brgy. Cabalawan, Tacloban City along the NMP campus and was graced by NMP Executive Director Joel B. Maglunsod.

ED Maglunsod congratulated the SJEC for celebrating and marking their 4th Charter Anniversary with the conduct of the said activity.

“It is an honor to be invited in this significant milestone of the SJEC brotherhood. I am more than happy to be a witness of the realization of this project because I can still remember vividly the Groundbreaking Ceremony conducted last 25 May 2021 which I was also privileged to be a part of,” said ED Maglunsod.

On a personal note he also expressed his admiration to the mission and goals of the SJEC.

“May this monument always remind us the purpose and commitment of this organization. Like eagles, may we all live royally and soar in our faith for the glory of God and in the process, be of service to our brothers and sisters in our respective communities,” he added.

The SJEC is one of the regional charters of The Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles (TFOE-PE) established on 26 August 2017.
