TACLOBAN CITY – As part of the National Maritime Polytechnic’s (NMP) lined-up activities for the  National Maritime Week Celebration, a two (2)-day training on Personal Survival Techniques (PST) was conducted on 14 & 21 September 2022, aimed to equip its personnel with essential knowledge and experience on the application of basic sea survival skills in order for them to respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.

The activity included practical training on the use of life jackets, inflatable liferaft, safety & communication equipment and other survival paraphernalia.

The PST training was conducted by Ensign Telesforo M. Sambalilo & CE Ercelito S. Enterina and participated in by thirty-five (35) NMP personnel.
