TACLOBAN CITY – The National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) manifested its support for continued education amidst COVID-19, by allowing the Leyte National High School (LNHS), the biggest school in the region, to set-up Iya-Kadi Learning Packet Stations in front of the NMP campus every Monday, from 8am to 5pm.

NMP’s strategic location, being at the heart of the Northern part of Tacloban City, is a perfect venue where the institution can distribute and retrieve its printed modules to the parents of students residing in the north.

LNHS’ request was granted provided that safety, health and security protocols are strictly implemented and cleanliness and orderliness in the vicinity will be maintained.

The said undertaking also served as an opportunity for NMP in marketing its training courses and services.
