TACLOBAN CITY – The National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) participated in the Lab For All (Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para Sa Lahat) Caravan held at the People’s Center and Library on Real Street, Tacloban City.

During the event, First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos visited and attended the awarding ceremony for the FREE Basic Training (BT) Certificate to qualified applicants. House Speaker Martin G. Romualdez, City Mayor Alfred S. Romualdez, and City’s President of  Association of Barangay Chairperson, Raymund Romualdez also visited, further highlighting the significance of NMP’s presence.

After the initial screening, 44 individuals were awarded with free training, which they can avail of within this year based on their preferred schedule.

Serving as an information center for the agency’s programs and services, the booth, allowed NMP to amplify its visibility in the region through promotion of its training courses, distribution of the Annual Maritime Training Schedule (AMTS), and offering of limited-edition giveaways.
