Committed to support the continuing education of learners especially in this time of COVID-19 uncertainty, the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) donated school supplies and reading materials to Ridgeview Park Integrated School (RVPIS).

The donated items are part of RVPIS’ program dubbed as ” School Educational Pantry of the North” which aims to provide learners with reading and other educational materials thereby increasing students’ reading proficiency level while at the comfort and safety of their homes.

NMP Executive Director Joel B. Maglunsod formally turned-over the school items on 14 June 2021 which were gladly accepted by RVPIS headed by its principal, Mr. Ronald B. Llaneta.

ED Maglunsod encouraged the institution to collaborate with NMP in the implementation of its various projects and programs and look into other areas where NMP and RVPIS can work together.

Initially, a coconut tree-planting activity within the vicinity of the RVPIS was agreed to be conducted tentatively scheduled next week.
