TACLOBAN CITY, LEYTE – In a significant event highlighting the crucial role of its workforce, the National Maritime Polytechnic (NMP) extended special recognition to the outstanding achievements and commitment of its personnel during the NMP’s Employee Relations Program (ERP) on 15 December 2023, at the Maritime Training Annex Building in Cabalawan, Tacloban City.

Ms. Jessa Kelly M. Padilla, NMP Accountant III and Head of the Finance Section, was honored with the Professional Achievement Award. Her remarkable contributions were instrumental in securing two prestigious accolades for NMP — the Outstanding eNGAS User Entity for Fiscal Year 2022 Award from the Government Financial Management Innovators Circle (GFMIC), Inc., and the 2022 Outstanding Accounting Office Award from the Association of Government Accountants of the Philippines (AGAP), Inc.

Meanwhile, twenty-two (22) Job Order Workers (JOWs) who have provided five years or more of exemplary service were also duly recognized. They received a certificate of appreciation, representing not just an acknowledgment but as a profound gratitude for their pivotal role in the institution’s success.

This event emphasizes NMP’s dedication to fostering a culture of appreciation and camaraderie, essential elements for achieving even greater milestones in organizational excellence and continuous improvement.
